Job summary

H2ajobs seeks workers for post-harvest and winter agricultural activities focused on corn and soybean operations. You will monitor stored grain, assist with storage conditions, and move grain using farm equipment.

You will operate tractors and other equipment for winter tasks, remove snow from access routes, and help prepare equipment for spring planting. Housing and meals are provided by the employer, with weekly transport to town offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with agricultural work preferred (minimum 3 months).
• Ability to operate basic farm equipment and tractors is beneficial.
• Capacity to work in winter conditions and handle stored grain when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-harvest and winter agricultural activities related to corn and soybean operation.
• Monitor stored grain and grain storage areas; assist with maintaining proper grain storage conditions.
• Load, unload, move, and handle stored grain using agricultural equipment; assist with preparing stored grain for shipment and load grain for transport.
• Operate tractors, loaders, and other agricultural equipment as necessary for winter activities.
• Remove snow and ice from farm access routes and areas needed to access grain storage facilities and equipment.
• Inspect, service, and prepare agricultural equipment for upcoming planting season; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
• Maintain agricultural work areas and facilities associated with crop production and stored grain operations.
• Crops: Corn, Soybeans.
• Employer-provided housing and meals; employer-provided transportation to town; employer-owned work site.
