Responsibilities

• Assist athletic director/principal in setting up and supervising athletic contests during the winter season.
• Set up and take down equipment for the field/court including press box, scorer’s table, lights, concession stand, restrooms, bleachers and storage.
• Welcome game officials and escort them to facilities; pay officials by check when they arrive.
• Escort opponents to locker rooms and provide directions before/after contests.
• Coordinate with security for crowd control and monitor crowd during contests to maintain safety.
• Position and manage announcer, clock operator, scorekeeper, chain crew, medical/ambulance personnel, parking, etc.
• Arrive at least 1.5 hours before contest and remain until area is secured and cleanup begins.
• Take on additional duties assigned by the principal and athletic director.
