Bogus Basin Recreational Association, Inc. in Boise, ID, seeks a Winter Food & Beverage Shift Lead to oversee daily dining operations and guest experiences during the season.

You will coach staff, ensure high standards, and act as a bridge between guests and management, maintaining Bogus Basin’s hospitality, teamwork, and safety. This seasonal leadership role offers meaningful community impact, resort perks, and opportunities to return each year, with a supportive team and a mountain environment

Qualificações

• Passion for Bogus Basin's mission.
• Experience in food and beverage operations or a related field.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal alcohol laws.
• Understanding of health, safety, and child labor standards.
• Strong decision-making ability in stressful or fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Food Service Safe certificate required or in possession.
• Alcohol server training and food handling certificates within 2 weeks of hire.
• Availability to work the full season.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain a team-oriented environment fostering pride and integrity among employees.
• Motivate staff in a positive manner to achieve goals and uphold Bogus Basin's values.
• Assist in training staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Oversee lodge operations during management’s absence.
• Assist staff in all lodge operations as needed in relation to staffing and business levels.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude toward guests and staff.
• Handle guest complaints effectively and with care.
• Assist guests with questions or problems, seeking management support when needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of all food service facilities in your area.
• Assist with all tasks assigned to staff members.
• Promote safety by following and enforcing safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Support weekly inventories and purchase orders as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
