Description
Are you a hardworking team player passionate about creating a welcoming environment for guests? At Bogus Basin, the largest nonprofit Mountain Recreation Area in the nation, we offer a unique space where community meets the mountain. We’re seeking a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor to help maintain clean and safe lodge facilities during the winter season, ensuring every guest enjoys their time on the mountain.
Enjoy the rare opportunity to work at a four-season mountain recreation area while living in Boise—one of the fastest-growing, most livable cities in the U.S. With a vibrant downtown, walkable neighborhoods, and a thriving arts and food scene, Boise offers urban amenities with small-town charm, just 16 miles from the slopes.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Bogus Basin is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable outdoor recreation, education, and community programming year-round. Every dollar earned is reinvested into the mountain and its people; not shareholders. Our values of kindness, respect, professionalism, and fun shape a workplace where everyone is welcome.
Located in the Boise National Forest, Bogus Basin offers year-round activities; from skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing in the winter to mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides in the summer. Employees enjoy the perks of mountain life with none of the resort town isolation.
As a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor, you’ll play a key role in providing guests with a positive lodge experience by ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. From keeping dining areas tidy to ensuring bathrooms are stocked and walkways are clear, your work helps create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the mountain.
You’ll start your shift in one of the bustling Bogus Basin lodges, greeting staff and checking your assigned areas. Throughout the day, you’ll clean dining spaces, restock bathrooms, remove trash, and help keep walkways safe from snow and ice. Along the way, you’ll assist guests with questions or direct them to the right department. At the end of your shift, you’ll know you helped have make the lodge feel like home for thousands of mountain visitors.
At Bogus Basin, you’ll help shape a mission-driven nonprofit that brings recreation and education to the Treasure Valley all year long. If you’re ready to bring your energy and work ethic to our True Bogus Spirit, we want to hear from you.
