Job summary

Kirkwood Mountain Resort is seeking a General Manager for Snowshoe Thompsons, a high-volume winter cafeteria. You will lead both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, manage a seasonal team, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction for families and skiers.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of F&B management, strong multitasking and communication skills, and the ability to obtain Serve Safe/TIPs/RBS certification if needed. Housing is available and the site operates during winter holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of food & beverage or quick-service management experience.
• Serve Safe Manager, TIPs, and RBS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH and BOH operations during breakfast and lunch service.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for families and day guests.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a seasonal team across culinary and front-of-house roles.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and promote teamwork and service excellence.
• Track daily sales, labor, and food cost targets.
