Job summary

Daystar Dairy in Minnesota seeks entry-level farm workers to perform duties on a dairy farm. The role is full-time, on-site, with a Monday–Saturday schedule of 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week, starting late November through late April.

A drug screen and background check are required; housing and transportation are provided under contract terms. Wage is $15.63 per hour with paid daily subsistence for travel and potential differential pay or bonuses at the employer’s discretion.

Qualifications

• 2 months of experience on a dairy farm required.
• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Check fences daily, maintain fences and clear snow from gates, feed bunks and waterers.
• Move cattle to pasture and inspect for illnesses or injuries.
• Clear shelter areas and access routes; haul water and feed as needed.
• Clean bedding, calf housing and prepare equipment for spring field work.
