Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to drive restaurant operations as Manager on Duty in Oshtemo Township, MI. You will lead teams on shift, ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards, and coach staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts as MOD.
• Deploy team members effectively across key positions (kitchen and front of house).
• Drive strong execution during peak and non-peak hours.
• Monitor ticket times, order flow, and SOS performance.
• Adjust staffing and manage breaks based on business needs.
• Communicate clear goals and expectations to the team each shift.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to brand standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, prep readiness, and product quality.
• Complete food safety checks, including temperature logs and compliance procedures.
• Maintain full adherence to food safety regulations and QSC standards.
• Execute daily cleaning plans and maintain sanitation standards.
• Ensure cleanliness across the entire restaurant (FOH and BOH).
• Maintain cleaning systems and documentation.
• Support equipment upkeep, including fryer maintenance and boil-outs.
• Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash control.
• Balance registers and complete required shift documentation.
• Execute opening and closing procedures with consistency.
• Support deposit processes when assigned.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service on every shift.
• Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure team members consistently follow service standards.
• Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps guests coming back.

Serving as the Manager on Duty, this position is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
