Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. in Southwest City, MO is seeking a Shoulder Cutter / Cone Loader / Wing Rounder for the day shift.

This on-site production role focuses on precise cutting of poultry wings and working smoothly with the team to meet production standards. You will monitor cut quality, sharpen blades, and follow safety protocols, while contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining open communication with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Make an accurate cut on every front half around the shoulder and along the scapula.
• Monitor and continuously improve cut while maintaining low scrape scores.
• Pay close attention to bones and remove as necessary.
• Sharpen knife blade as necessary, every 3 or 4 birds. Change out blades at each break.
• Responsible for preparing presentations for wing cutters.
• Participates as a member of the team; communicates; attends team meetings; supports team cohesion.
• Follows Simmons operating systems and policies and considers impact of actions on the systems.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
• Physical activities and PPE requirements are followed in a loud, dusty production environment.
