Trinchero Family Estates is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform wine and grape component analyses on-site in California. The role involves instrument-based testing, data interpretation, and strict record-keeping within a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications include a BA/BS in sciences, 1+ years in a related setting, strong teamwork, and a valid CA driver’s license. The job requires physical work and adherence to safety standards in lab and production areas.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in the sciences.
• Related science degree preferred; courses in enology or familiarity with winemaking a plus.
• One or more years in similar position or academic lab environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented.
• Valid California Driver’s license and clean DMV report.

Responsabilidades

• Sample and perform pH, TA, brix, and nutritional analysis on grape juice and fermenting juice.
• Sample and perform various analyses on bottled wine and wines in storage.
• Perform basic wine analysis using instruments such as GC, CO2 analyzer, alcohol analyzer, pH meter, spectrophotometer, autotitrator and chemistry analyzer.
• Read and interpret analytical results accurately and maintain strict records.
• Work under pressure with multiple requests and deadlines.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree in the sciences

Related science degree preferred (enology familiarity a plus)
