Wine Industry Expo seeks a Winemaker for a boutique, award-winning winery, cidery, and meadery. The role leads all harvest and winemaking tasks, including cider, mead and fruit wines, and manages custom-crush and bulk wine programs.
The position may include vineyard duties seasonally and requires flexibility in scheduling. Enology/viticulture education and self-motivation are essential; ability to work 8–10 hours standing and lift up to 40 pounds is required.

Primary responsibilities include leading all aspects of harvest & wine-making tasks, including cider, mead and fruit wines. Winemaking responsibilities includes leading custom-crush and bulk wine programs.
Primary focus is winemaking, but depending on the season and workload it will also include assistance in the vineyard. Vineyard assistance during slow times in the winery may include pruning, managing the canopy, harvesting, planting, etc.
Due to the nature of harvest and the winemaking process, flexibility in scheduling is a requirement.
Previous experience in either winemaking or cidermaking, and/or education in enology & viticulture is a requirement.
Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a requirement to be able to work 8-10 hours in a standing position the majority of the time and to be able to lift 40 pounds.
