Job summary

Wineshipping is seeking a Production Support 1 to assist in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. You will perform picker, box maker, palletizer, and quality assurance tasks to support daily shipping operations.

This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, basic math, and the ability to follow written instructions. Training on scanners and warehouse systems is provided; bilingual candidates are welcome. Weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but often not required).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions (e.g., pick lists, packing slips).
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and quantity checks.
• Ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (training usually provided).
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or stocking experience.
• Experience with pallet jacks, carts, or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with barcoding or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Packaging Prodigy: Process product pallets; run boxes through machines; insert pulp into boxes; stack empty boxes; pull and apply labels.
• Builder Extraordinaire: Pull inventory and build customer-facing products from multiple SKUs using scanners to identify products.
• Inspector of Awesome (Quality Assurance): Final check to ensure outgoing products are top-notch.
• Clean Space, Clear Mind: Maintain a safe, tidy workspace.
• Quality Crusader (VAS/Value Added Service): Participate in improvement projects and customer-specific services at special handling stations.
