Job summary

HomeBuys, INC. is seeking a Wine Steward in Marion, Ohio. The role focuses on greeting customers, guiding wine selections, pouring tastings, stocking and inventory control, and assisting with events and daily operations.

The ideal candidate has strong people skills, a professional appearance, and is able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Flexible schedule including weekends and events is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Wine/alcohol sales experience a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Guide customers to wines they enjoy.
• Pour wines for tasting.
• Stock and maintain wine inventory.
• Assist with daily operations and events setup/cleanup.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Receive wine deliveries and manage inventory.
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely delivery.
• Work in a team and support other duties as assigned.
• Attend events to learn current wine trends.
• Care for budgets and sales reporting.
