Job summary

Vehrs Distributing is seeking a Delivery Driver in Kent to operate a van or box truck, delivering wine and spirits to on- and off-premise accounts. The role is non-CDL and serves as the primary contact with customers, requiring professionalism and reliable performance.

You will work Tuesday–Friday for about 10 hours daily. The position requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience delivering wine and spirits is preferred.
• Customer service or related experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Load products into the van/truck each morning, coordinating with warehouse and sales.
• Inspect product for breakage or mis-picks before departing.
• Deliver merchandise to retailers and non-retail accounts promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with the warehouse team.
• Collect and document customer payment at delivery.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to delivery schedules based on priorities and locations.
