Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous serving experience required.
• At least 1-year experience as a bartender/server.
• Food Handlers Card.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Superior customer service skills / guest service focused.
• Positive attitude and friendly personality are essential.
• Ability to represent the restaurant with a professional image.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person, through emails, and over the phone.
• Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability.
• Progressive people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Explain chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food prep questions.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen; record resident choices and dietary needs.
• Serve orders by delivering to tables; provide accompaniments and condiments.
• Address patron needs; monitor dining progress and refill water glasses.
• Open and pour wine tableside; handle payments and receipts.
