Job summary

Sixty Vines in Austin, TX is seeking friendly, knowledgeable servers to deliver hospitality in our open-scratch kitchen and wine-forward dining room. You will interact with guests, accurately enter orders, stock stations, and continually expand your knowledge of the menu, wine, beer, and spirits to guide pairings.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, be able to read, write and speak English, and be able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly obtain and update any required certifications.
• We participate in the E-Verify program to verify employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, in proper uniform.
• Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders in the computer.
• Stock and replenish stations as needed, including polished silverware and glassware.
• Assist guests with questions about the menu, including liquor, beer, and wine.
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions according to company standards.
• Execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables.
• Pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant, including other stations.
• Communicate with management and coworkers in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Perform opening and closing duties and set up the next shift for success.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol service regulations.
• Participate in continuing education courses.
