Job summary

Sixty Vines in San Antonio seeks a server who provides friendly, knowledgeable service of food and beverage while maintaining a clean dining area and upholding quality standards. You will greet guests, answer questions, ring orders accurately, and ensure timely service with a polished presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Obtain and update any required certifications; participation in E-Verify as part of our workforce.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, in proper uniform.
• Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders in the computer.
• Stock and replenish stations as needed, including polished silverware glassware.
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns about the menu: liquor, beer, and wine.
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables.
• Pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant, not only in your own station.
• Communicate questions or issues to management in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with coworkers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Perform opening/closing duties and prep for next shift.
• Practice sanitation procedures and follow alcohol service regulations.
• Participate in continuing education courses.
• Maintain knowledge of food and bar menu and host staff procedures.
