Job summary

Estate Yountville, a premier Napa Valley hospitality group, seeks a General Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations across two luxury properties. You will drive service excellence, partner with the Executive Chef, and maintain high standards in guest experience and operations.

The role requires a track record of FOH leadership in upscale environments, strong organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Proven success in a front-of-house leadership role in an upscale or high-volume setting.
• Calm, confident floor presence with genuine hospitality passion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience training and mentoring teams for service excellence.
• Familiarity with restaurant systems (POS, reservations, labor tools).
• Ability to collaborate with culinary leadership and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the front-of-house team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Drive a welcoming, polished service style reflecting the brand and values.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure FOH/BOH alignment and communications.
• Maintain a strong floor presence during service and lead with hospitality-driven leadership.
• Oversee daily operations including reservations, guest recovery, service pacing, and team coverage.
• Monitor FOH labor, service standards, and costs to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Create a positive workplace culture with support, empowerment, and engagement.
• Uphold health, safety, and labor standards and comply with local regulations.
