Job summary

St. Julian Winery is opening a new Gaylord Tasting Room and seeks enthusiastic individuals to lead wine tastings and provide memorable guest experiences. This part-time role offers the chance to welcome guests, help them discover wines and merchandise, and support events in a welcoming environment.

Weekend availability is required. Training is provided, no prior wine experience is necessary, making it ideal to learn in a fast-paced, wine-focused setting with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• A friendly, outgoing people-person who enjoys making others feel welcome.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Positive team player willing to learn.
• Comfort using basic technology, including Point of Sale systems.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service is a plus.
• Previous wine knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun and engaging wine tastings while helping guests explore our wines.
• Create a warm, memorable experience that keeps customers coming back.

We are coming to Gaylord, Michigan, and we are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing people to help us open our newest St. Julian Winery Tasting Room next month! If you love meeting new people, creating memorable experiences, and working in a fun, energetic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. St. Julian Winery, Michigan’s oldest and largest winery, has been crafting award-winning wines for over 100 years. As a Wine Consultant, you will have the opportunity to introduce guests to St. Julian, help them discover new favorites, and be part of building something new in the Gaylord community.

• Location: NEW Gaylord Tasting Room – Gaylord, Michigan
• Part-Time: Up to 29 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
