Job summary

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a Windows and VMware Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure in the Dallas area.

You will manage VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and Windows Server environments, ensuring stability, security and performance across production and non-production systems. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, incident response, lifecycle management, automation with PowerShell/PowerCLI, and collaboration with network, security, and cloud

Qualifications

5–10 years of Windows and VMware administration experience.
Hands-on VMware components: vSphere, VCF, ESXi, vCenter.
Strong troubleshooting for app/OS/VMware outages.
Experience with AWS cloud server management.
Knowledge of OS migrations and upgrades.
ITIL incident, change, and problem management.

Responsibilities

Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T, and vSAN.
Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and patch Windows Server environments (2019/2022/2025).
Perform Windows Server upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot Windows Server performance, CPU, memory, storage, networking, services, apps.
Monitor server health and performance for uptime and reliability.
Support VMware upgrades, patching, and security remediation.
Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, PowerCLI, and automation tools.
Collaborate with networks, security, cloud, storage, and app teams.
Follow ITIL processes for incidents, problems, changes, and service requests.
Provide after-hours support and participate in maintenance and changes.
