Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator (Windows Advanced / Senior) to support a government customer at Patuxent River, MD.

You will manage enterprise Windows, VMware, and virtualization platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and security across mission-critical systems. The role requires a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible), strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to interface with customers at executive levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold Top Secret Clearance or higher.
• SCI eligible and Full Performance Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Windows, VMware, and virtualization platforms.
• Perform backup and recovery.
• Support Disaster Recovery.
• Collaborate with cyber security team to mitigate vulnerabilities and track IAVA compliance.
• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, data communications network, OS, and physical and virtual servers.
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs (e.g., backups).
• Support deployment of DoD/Navy/Command Policies.

PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator Windows Advanced / Senior to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD.

Description:

• Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise Windows, VMware, and virtualization platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and security across mission- critical systems. Monitor Logs, execute required jobs.
• Perform backup and recovery.
• Support Disaster Recovery.
• Collaborate with cyber security team to mitigate vulnerabilities, track IAVA compliance, and develop POA&Ms for systems.
• Conduct system testing, as required.
• Support the deployment of DoD/Navy/Command Policies.
• Serve as a member of an integrated team to plan for new/upgraded components.
• Install, configure, and maintain an organization’s local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
• Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
• Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
• May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum: Top Secret Clearance.
• Expected: Top Secret – SCI eligible- Full Performance Level Security Clearance.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.

Experience Requirements: Advanced / Senior

• Has at least 7 years of experience performing work related to the LCAT functional description.
• Meetings the identified military equivalent on the job training (OJT) requirement.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Discipline is preferred.
