Responsibilities
- Perform as a Windows Systems Administrator for a classified government contract.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Maintain multi-user computer systems, coordinating with various technical teams.
- Support multiple networks, ensuring administration tasks are completed.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
- Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems, and manage virus protection.
- Create and maintain user and computer accounts, modify permissions and security access.
- Test new product releases for compatibility and minimal user impact.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
- Adhere to strict security guidelines and maintain security logs.
- Report project status as required.
- Assist in developing solutions under guidance.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's with 2 years, or 6 years relevant experience with a high school diploma.
- IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance or enrolled in the DoD CEP.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems support.
- Experience managing Windows Workstation and Server environments.
- Experience with WSUS, Group Policy, Symantec.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD 8570 Certification in a primary OS.
- Experience with RMF, STIG, or JSIG environments.
- Basic networking knowledge, Cisco experience/certification.
- Knowledge of Windows AD, LDAP, VMWare, SAN storage.
- Current version of VMWare experience.
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools.
- Scripting experience.
- Experience creating and deploying system images.
- Experience with Certification & Accreditation and patch management.
