Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Systems Administrator for the Windows Infrastructure team to support all SpaceX personnel. The role requires strong Microsoft expertise, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and O365, and act as a bridge with security and engineering teams. The position involves extended hours as needed, and requires either a degree with 1+ year of IT experience or 3+ years without a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with IT experience.
• 3+ years of IT systems administration experience, or 1+ year with a degree.
• 3+ years managing Windows-based infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
• Experience with O365, Outlook, Teams and related productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Support users and maintain critical Windows resources.
• Troubleshoot and recover Windows systems.
• Implement security and policy standards per guidance.
• Document and implement best practices.
• Support O365 suite on workstations and mobile devices.
• Monitor and remediate production issues.
• Contribute to internal docs and Runbooks.
• Collaborate with Service Desk for escalations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM

3+ years of IT systems administration experience without a degree

3+ years of experience maintaining a Windows-based infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS)

Experience with Windows Server 2016+ and Windows 10/11

Memory dump and log analysis for troubleshooting

Imaging Windows systems (WDS, sysprep)

Patch management at scale
