Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Description

Support Naval Research Laboratory Space Systems Development Division (SSDD). The primary objective of the SSDD is to develop command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) hardware and software solutions to space, airborne, and ground applications. We are seeking a mid-level Windows Systems Administrator with 5–10 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience administering modern Windows Server and Windows endpoint platforms, enforcing DoD security standards, and supporting mission‑critical systems in regulated or classified networks.

Required Experience

• 5–10 years of Windows Systems Administration experience
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016+ and Windows 11
• Hands‑on experience with DISA STIGs and SCAP tools
• Familiarity with RMF and NIST 800‑53

Skills Required

• Security+ CE (DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant)

Salary

The projected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
