Job Description

Position is for a Senior Systems Administrator to support NSWC Philadelphia and Surface Ship modernization programs. The candidate shall support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties will involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. The position will require working with customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications. As required by the government, the candidate will maintain Cybersecurity Work Force qualification.

  • Minimum Experience: 10 years professional experience in systems administration.
Degree Requirements

Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
