Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite) (Need Citizens) (Need EX-USPS Experience)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Windows 10/11 Support Engineer to provide expert-level support for endpoint performance, operating system issues, and enterprise workstation environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system diagnostics, scripting, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, particularly in domain-joined environments. Prior USPS experience is preferred.

Position: Full-Time / Contract – Onsite (Raleigh, NC)

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze endpoint and event log data to identify and address workstation performance issues
  2. Troubleshoot OS-level and user-impacting issues including:
  • Operating system errors
  • Software installation/configuration issues
  • Network connectivity problems
  • Third-party application conflicts
  • Monitor system health and performance trends
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain update, patch, and configuration compliance
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain-based infrastructure
  • Script automation using PowerShell
  • Requirement Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in Windows 10/11 OS support
    • Deep understanding of Windows architecture and diagnostic tools (Event Viewer, PerfMon, ProcMon)
    • Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting
    • Experience with AD, GPO, WMI, and Intune
    • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
    • PowerShell scripting required (Python or Bash is a plus)
    • Exposure to Hyper-V or VMware environments
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills
    • USPS experience highly preferred

    Additional Information:

    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
    • Must be able to pass a background check for federal clearance
    • Limited remote flexibility available
    • Work hours: Sunday to Thursday (shift-based support)

    Candidate Details:

    • Minimum 5 years in U.S. IT support roles
    • Experience in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 in enterprise settings
    • Strong communication and independent troubleshooting skills
    • Federal/USPS domain experience is a strong advantage
