Job summary

iP-Plus Consulting, Inc. is seeking a senior IT professional to direct technical work on DoD IT projects, lead on-site installations, and ensure systems are configured, maintained, and documented to meet user requirements and schedules.

The role demands hands-on Windows Server administration, strong problem-solving, and coordination with government and vendor stakeholders. A SECRET clearance and DoD 8570 certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive IT experience with at least five related projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server Administration.
• High Risk SECRET clearance with Tier 5 investigation.
• 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT II or IAT III.
• One of the IAT II certs: CCNA Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.
• One of the IAT III certs: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
• Computing Environment Certification: Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z.
• Possess IAT-level security credentials such as AWS/Azure/OCI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct technical work on projects and prepare appropriate documentation.
• Prepare briefings and presentations; lead on-site management of installations.
• Install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT systems and devices.
• Review task performance and work products for correctness and schedules.

Job description

Responsible for directing technical work on projects. Performs a variety of analyses and prepares appropriate documentation. Prepares and makes briefings and presentations. Leads team in on-site management of installations. Works independently and installs, operates, maintains, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs IT systems devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end-user devices, components, software and connectivity. Assists in the development and management of project plans. This includes the review of task performance and work products for correctness, for adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules. Coordinates with the Vendor PM, TOPCs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Required Qualifications:

Seven (7) years of progressive IT experience including at least five projects in technical areas included in the related task areas specified in the Statement of Work. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years

Hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of Windows Server Administration

Investigative Requirement: Must possess a High Risk (Confidential, Critical Sensitive IT1) with a Tier 5 investigation. (SECRET Clearance)

8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT II or IAT III

Candidate must possess one of the following certifications:

• IAT II: CCNA Security CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP; OR
• IAT III : CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH CCSP

Computing Environment Certification: Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z (Cloud or Microsoft Operating System per DLA Approved CE)

Candidate must possess one of the following certifications:

• AWS CS Specialty, AWS CSA Associate, AWS CSA ProfessionalAWS CSO Admin Associate; AND
