Overview

We are seeking an experienced L3 Server Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia. In this role, you will provide advanced technical expertise, serve as an escalation point for complex support issues, and ensure our server infrastructure is optimized, secure, and well-documented. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with growth potential.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for tickets from the support team.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership for project-based initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate patching levels for all operating systems and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain detailed system documentation.
• Manage priorities effectively with strong time management skills.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Server 2019/2022.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, Intune, Exchange, M365).
• Expertise in Microsoft SCCM (inventory, reporting, OSD, patching).
• 5+ years of Windows Systems Administration (AD, CA, DNS, DHCP, GPO).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Citrix Cloud, VDI, or XenDesktop.
• VMWare and storage technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
