Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Windows System Administrator to join our team. This role focuses on managing Windows servers and desktops, provisioning and troubleshooting virtualization, and strengthening security across the IT infrastructure.

You will design and modernize systems, supporting remote access and ensuring reliable performance. Applicants should have 3+ years of server/Linux experience, RHEL, and familiar with automation tools; a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in server administration, Linux administration, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Experience provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
• Experience with OS patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Linux commands, file systems, permissions, processes, services, and system logs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, SSH, routing, and firewall fundamentals.
• Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
