Job description
Job Title: Windows Server Administrator

DCS Corp is seeking an experienced Microsoft Windows Server Administrator to support a Prime contract with the US Air Force.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Lead administrator for the enterprise's Windows Server and Windows desktop client environments.
Required Skills:
  1. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  2. Applicants must undergo a U.S. Government background check and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  3. Active Secret clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI clearance.
  4. High School Diploma with at least 16 years of related experience or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience. Candidates with advanced degrees or varied experience may be considered for alternative classifications.
  5. Current Security+, CISM, or CISSP certification, with additional Windows certifications preferred.
  6. Experience building, securing, and maintaining Windows-based desktops and servers to DOD requirements, including DISA STIG compliance.
  7. Experience managing Windows Server services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  8. Experience using Nessus (ACAS) vulnerability scanner for assessing and remediating security posture.
  9. Experience with enterprise virtualization using VMWare.
  10. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving Windows desktop/server and end-user issues.
  11. Knowledge of Windows backup and recovery principles; experience with Veeam is desirable.
  12. Knowledge of Linux is highly desirable.
  13. Ability to support enterprise-scale environments with thousands of users.
  14. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
