Job summary

A technology services company seeks a seasoned professional to manage scripting automation and Windows administration. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience, strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell, and the ability to operate within a complex technical environment. Qualifications

Job description

Work Authorization:

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.

NEEDS:

• HEAVY SCRIPTING AUTOMATION WITH PYTHON AND POWERSHELL.
• Windows admin.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, test development, re-engineering and maintenance of scripts or software.
• Troubleshoot issues in a complex environment to develop sustaining fixes.
• Work in a global cross-functional team environment and communicate well.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Show attention to detail.

Technical skills:

• Strong experience with Client Operating Systems (OS), OS imaging, OS deployment, and OS customization (Win10, Win 11, WinPE and Linux).
• Experience with imaging and deployment tools including SCCM, MDT and the Microsoft ADK tools a plus.
• Strong experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, JSON, Perl, Shell, & YAML).
• Strong familiarity scripting in Python preferred and some experience in python is required.
• Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, BIOS and driver layers.
• Client and Enterprise-level, cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Experience in a technology manufacturing environment.
• Previous Dell manufacturing environment experience a plus.

Education:

• Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years of equivalent experience.
• Technical certifications a plus (A+, Security+, OS Certifications, PCAP, Cloud, etc.).
