Responsibilities and Qualifications

1. Thorough understanding of electrical power and multiple power phases as it relates to data center deployments and systems.
2. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel and Access.
3. Proficiency in the development of Crystal Reports.
4. Knowledge of reliable electrical power distribution systems as they apply to data center design.
5. Knowledge of new approaches to data center architecture including cloud computing, blade systems, and virtualization as well as their impact on data center design.
6. Broad understanding of the state of the data center industry, how it fits in the larger IT infrastructure and helps meet business goals.
7. Good understanding of Host-based firewall, Intrusion protection, Data Integrity, and Vulnerability Scanners.
8. Good knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
9. Experience in intimacy with UNIX, Windows, and Linux hardware and software configurations.
10. Knowledge of AWS and Azure security.
11. Knowledge of Chef Inspec / Automate, TrendMicro Deep Security, CyberArk, and Tripwire.
12. Knowledge of Containers (Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, Docker).
13. Knowledge of Splunk and ability to create searches, reports, and dashboards.
14. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and under pressure.
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
16. Excellent analytical skills.
17. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor, and technical staff).
