Allwein Carpet One in Central Pennsylvania seeks a skilled Window Treatment Installer to travel to client sites to measure, install, and maintain a variety of window coverings, ensuring flawless execution and excellent customer service. This role requires hands-on work, problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will install products, operate hand and power tools, and collaborate with the sales/design team to meet client specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, or a related trade.
• Familiarity with Hunter Douglas products is preferred.
• Proficiency with tools like drills, levels, ladders, and measuring devices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for consultations and installations).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (e.g., using ladders or scaffolding).
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification a plus.
• Background check required.
• Must be friendly and a team player.
• Must be a self starting person.

Responsibilities

• Measure on-site for custom window treatments.
• Install window coverings using hand/power tools and mounting hardware.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and adjust as needed.
• Explain product features, care instructions, and warranty details to customers.
• Keep vehicle and tools clean; document jobs with photos and checklists.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our growing installation team. In this role, you'll travel to client sites to measure, install, and maintain a variety of window coverings, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Conduct precise on-site measurements for custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and curtains.
• Install window treatments using hand tools, power tools, and mounting hardware, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues, such as uneven fittings or mechanical adjustments.
• Provide clear explanations to customers about product features, care instructions, and warranty details.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and tools, and complete job documentation (e.g., photos, checklists) for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the sales and design team to ensure installations align with client specifications.
• Occasionally assist with inventory management and basic repairs in our warehouse.
• Manage the in-store displays and update as needed
