Job summary

Westlake is seeking a loader to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and on time. The role requires scanning items, following warehouse instructions, and securing loads for transit. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to shipper documentation.

Responsibilities include loading windows, maintaining paperwork accuracy, reporting damages, and maintaining a clean shipping area. High school diploma preferred; prior manufacturing/warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a team environment.

Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.

Must be able to work independently and use good judgment.
Ability to maintain attention to detail.
Ability to hear audible noises.
Ability to distinguish basic colors.

Responsibilities

Comply with Westlake Safety Policies.
Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
Provide safety leadership in promoting and creating a zero-injury safety culture.
Load windows for shipment when trailers are available.
Track and load product on paperwork while loading and insuring correct shipment of windows.
Report any damaged window to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.
Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure truck trailers are checked before loading or unloading.
Maintain housekeeping of shipping floor.
Strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks.
Manually lift and move the window to the belonging truck.
Other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.
