POSITION SUMMARY:

The Installation Assistant is part of a great team, supporting the Lead Installer by focusing on installation tasks and problem solving at the job site. Responsibilities include assisting with basic installation functions, retrieving tools and materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role involves loading materials at the start of the day (7:00 AM start) and assisting with cleanup at day's end. The starting pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, based on experience. This entry-level position serves as a training program for potential growth and supports an experienced installer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare the job site for setup and teardown efficiently.
2. Demonstrate competency and confidence in completing installation duties.
3. Install products according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
4. Collaborate with the Lead Installer to provide excellent customer service.
5. Participate in and promote safety practices.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Complete required training in installation and safety.
8. Foster a positive team environment.
9. Show self-leadership and personal accountability.
10. Build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain confidentiality. Skills include multi-tasking, accuracy, good organization, and stress management. Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
• Two years of general carpentry experience desired.
• Ability to work at heights on ladders, roofs, etc.
• Attention to detail and high integrity standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Positioning oneself to install/remove products at various heights.
• Climbing ladders or equipment.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling.
• Operating power tools.
• Exposure to outdoor elements and potential animal encounters.
