Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a skilled Window & Door Installer in Boise with carpentry experience to join our team. You will install residential windows and doors, perform finish carpentry, and ensure high-quality workmanship on safe, well-organized job sites.

Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional extended days and travel across Idaho. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in window or door installation, carpentry, construction or a related trade
• Ability to read and follow work orders and installation instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Install residential windows and doors, including replacement and new construction
• Remove and replace existing windows and doors
• Perform finish carpentry, trim work, framing adjustments, and drywall repairs
• Measure, cut, and install interior and exterior trim
• Ensure installations are level, plumb, weatherproof, and completed to quality standards
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other installation equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and other contractors
• Complete required paperwork and maintain company tools, materials, and vehicles

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Window & Door Installer with carpentry or construction experience to join our team. This role involves installing residential windows and doors, performing finish carpentry, and delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and professional job site.

Responsibilities

• Installresidential windows and doors, including replacement and new constructionapplications
• Removeand replace existing windows and doors
• Performfinish carpentry, trim work, framing adjustments, and basic drywallrepairs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds on a regular basis
• Abilityto work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas up to 30 feet
• Abilityto stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughoutthe day
• Comfortableworking outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Abilityto use power tools (e.g., skill/circular saw, miter saw, framing nailers/nail guns)

Travel & Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends.
• Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though workdays may occasionally extend aslate as 8:00 PM based on project needs and travel requirements.
• Travelthroughout Idaho and portions of Oregon
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
