Colonial Group is seeking a Winder Operator C to learn fundamentals of the process while assisting machine operators and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment in Tennessee.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills. Basic computing knowledge and flexibility to work non-standard hours are also expected as part of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, notifying supervisor or Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
• Slab rolls, load scrap unwinder, and grind scrap.
• Quality testing / data entry
• Overtime as required
• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
