Job summary

RTX in Tucson seeks a Windchill Administrator and Linux Technologist to support PDM/PLM across classified programs. This senior analyst role is onsite and requires the ability to obtain DoD security clearance; Windchill training is provided.

You will manage Windchill in a Linux environment, perform deployments, and collaborate with cybersecurity, admins, and engineers to maintain systems and documentation.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, operations, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT and end user support for deployments in a Red Hat Linux environment and perform sustainment tasks.
• Interact with cybersecurity, system administrators, program management, and engineers.
• Must obtain DoD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months of start date (training provided).

The Digital Technologies Digital Operations group is seeking a motivated Sr. Analyst, Business Systems & Transformation Technologist to join our team of Windchill Administrators who support our PDM Software infrastructure throughout Classified areas in our Tucson Location. This candidate will provide application administration for a product data/lifecycle management system (PDM/PLM) to successfully develop, implement, and maintain PDM solutions across various classified programs. To thrive in this role means that you will be a self-starter, working in a fast-paced and diverse atmosphere under limited supervision . Application training on Windchill will be provided .

What You Will Do

Provide onsite IT and end user support for multiple deployments in primarily a Red Hat Linux environment, whether it be responding to help desk tickets or project-driven tasks. Examples include executing standard procedures for sustainment, deployment, minor patching, or major upgrades of applications, operating system, database, etc. Follow, update, and author technical documentation to complete those tasks.

Interact with individuals from multiple functions (cybersecurity, system administrators, program management, engineers, etc.).

Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. (Training Provided by Department)
