Schedule: Will be traveling 100% of the time throughout the US; Schedule is 6 weeks on and 1 week off for R&R

Must Haves:

• HSD or GED minimum
• 4+ years of experience as a wind turbine technician
• Active GWO certifications (BST/BTT/ART)
• Valid drivers license
• Able to handle repetitive weight ~ 50 lbs, able to signal and rig loads up to 100 tons, able to work/climb up to 300 ft

Plusses:

• Bachelors degree in technical, electrical, or electronics field
• Technical certifications in wind energy/electrical/electronics field
• Ability to reach/understand electrical schematic drawings

Day to Day: A large energy client is seeking an MCE Liftra Operator. This individual will maintain and replace large components and repair wind turbine generators across the U.S. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch/speed turbines, site preparation, documenting work, and communicating with engineers, customers, and management. Requires a high school diploma, 4+ years of wind turbine experience, and willingness to travel extensively. Must handle heavy equipment, heights, and various weather conditions. Extensive travel is required. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Compensation:

$50/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
