Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician II in Anadarko, OK to ensure reliable turbine operation through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and systems support on site. You will work with a team to maintain performance and safety while following established procedures.

Qualified candidates have wind technician experience or a related field, a technical certificate or HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Strong safety and team skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine maintenance or related mechanical/electric field experience.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive safety mindset.
• Ability to work well in collaborative teams and varying conditions.
• Physically fit for climb heights and demanding environments.
• Must read/write/speak English and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to ensure power supply.
• Follow safety protocols and complete inspections.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and track task duration and efficiency.
• Provide accurate status updates on repairs and maintenance.
