A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this position, you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this new site startup near Patton, PA, you will typically work 5 days a week and 8-10 hours a day. You could also have an on-call rotation for off-work hours (weekends). In this position, you would travel more the first 6-9 months for on-the-job training at other site/s before this site location is up and running.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  • You will need a safety-focused mindset
  • Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment
  • You will bring a LOTO 2 certification with at least 3 years of extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms
  • You have performed mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair work pertaining to main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades in the wind industry
