Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking experienced GE Wind Turbine Service Technicians to support scheduled maintenance near Laverne, Oklahoma. This site-based role focuses on GE 1.5 platform turbines and related systems.

You will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and assist with advanced troubleshooting under SCR safety standards. The position offers a four-day rotating schedule, strong safety culture, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• GE wind turbine service experience with preference for GE 1.5 platform.
• Ability to safely complete scheduled wind turbine maintenance.
• Experience supporting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pitch and control systems.
• Ability to read technical documentation and basic electrical schematics.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, test equipment and computers for turbine service.
• Ability to produce accurate work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Strong safety awareness, quality focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete scheduled maintenance on GE wind turbine systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective service activities.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pitch, converter and control systems.
• Assist senior technicians with fault isolation and turbine return-to-service activities.
• Follow OEM procedures, customer requirements and SCR safety standards.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain safe work practices.
• Use turbine software, manuals and documentation to complete work orders.
• Inspect tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Complete work orders, inspection records and maintenance documentation on time.
• Identify and escalate technical and safety concerns promptly.
• Operate company and customer vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Participate in rotating on-call support as required.
