Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks experienced Siemens Wind Turbine Service Technicians to support scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting at utility-scale wind farms in Oklahoma.

The role is aligned with Siemens Level 4/5 capability and focuses on safely completing maintenance, inspections, and documentation while supporting advanced troubleshooting as directed. The position is site-based with potential for rotating on-call duties and a four-day workweek option.

Qualifications

• Siemens wind turbine service capabilities at Level 4/5 as required.
• Demonstrated ability to safely perform scheduled wind turbine maintenance.
• Experience supporting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
• Working knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret service instructions and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and computers for turbine service.
• Ability to produce accurate work orders and service documentation.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete scheduled maintenance on Siemens wind turbine systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective service activities.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Assist senior technicians with fault isolation and turbine return-to-service activities.
• Follow Siemens procedures, customer requirements, site rules, and SCR safety standards.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain safe work practices.
• Use turbine software and service manuals for assigned work.
• Inspect tools and equipment and maintain organized work areas.
• Complete work orders, inspection records, and service reports accurately.
• Identify and escalate safety or technical concerns promptly.
• Operate company and customer vehicles safely.
• Participate in rotating on-call support as required.
