Job description

Title: Wind Turbine Tech

Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Additional compensation types

• Annual Bonus
• Title: Wind Turbine Tech
• PR: $30 - $38/hr base + OT paid at 1.5x base
• Travel: 0-15% (Travel will only be to Florida for initial training and as needed trainings moving forward)
• PPE & Tools: All necessary PPE, tools, and equipment are paid for by TEP
• Expenses: Any travel expenses incurred by employee are reimbursed by TEP
• Duration: 12 month contract with possible extensions/conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years as technician.
• Computer Savvy
• Valid driver's license.
• Successfully complete applicable safety and technical training program for the entry level technician.

Job Description

• Monitor and maintain wind generation equipment: Respond to alarms, correct abnormal conditions, and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Address electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer issues using various tools.
• Develop procedures and schedules: Plan inspections and maintenance activities.
• General facility support: Clean and maintain buildings, shops, tools, and equipment.
• Documentation: Complete maintenance work orders and safety documentation (LOTO, JSA).
