Compensation for Blade Repair Technician Level III:

$35-45+ per hour, commensurate with experience

Compensation for Blade Repair Technician Level II:

$25-35 per hour, commensurate with experience

Requirements for Blade Repair Technician:

• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Capability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment
• Compliance with safety weight restrictions
• Valid work authorization for non-US citizens
• Willingness to travel for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to climb up to 300 feet and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications for Blade Repair Technician:

• GE Qualified Electrical Worker

• Ability to complete, maintain and communicate necessary documentation and reporting

Job Description for Blade Repair Technician Level III:

International Wind is seeking an experienced Senior Composite Technician - Level III to oversee wind turbine blade repairs. This role is essential for maintaining turbine structural integrity and performance. The position requires expertise, leadership, and extensive travel. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all work complies with IW EHS and Site Safety Requirements
• Communicate effectively with customers, project teams, and corporate offices
• Plan daily activities, including safety assessments, rigging, lift plans, and reporting
• Inspect work scope and coordinate with engineering on repair plans
• Execute repairs per OEM, site, and company policies and budget
• Support development of final repair reports and approvals
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Provide feedback on technician performance and support continuous improvement

Job Description for Blade Repair Technician Level II:

This role involves climbing wind turbines, conducting safety checks, grinding, laminating fiberglass, documenting work, and performing maintenance. Extensive travel is required. Responsibilities include:

• Perform work in accordance with IW EHS and safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with site leads and project teams
• Support daily planning, safety assessments, and reporting
• Assist in executing repair plans under supervision
• Support development of repair reports and inspections
