Qualifications

• Typically 0-2 years prior experience in wind turbine assembly.
• Ability to work with peers and oversee lower-grade assemblers.
• Knowledge of bearings and basic Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of wind turbine power transmissions and subassemblies.
• Use various tools and equipment for assembly.
• Train and oversee other assembly workers as needed.

Lathe experience

General shop safety training

Parts washer use

Crane operation and safety

Measuring equipment use (mic's, veneers)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
