Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 2 years mechanical analysis and design experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Design engineering solutions for mechanical shafts and system interfaces with a focus on reliability.
  • Develop drawings and specs for wind turbine components.
  • Lead projects for new product introduction, technology integration, and field issue resolution with emphasis on quality and testing.
  • Own documentation: design practices, drawings, specs, and BOMs.
  • Create testing/validation plans to prove function and reliability.
  • Provide innovative solutions to meet cost, schedule, and reliability targets.
  • Collaborate across quality, manufacturing, sourcing, and field teams to improve product quality and first-time yield.
