Job summary

Siemens Gamesa invites a cybersecurity specialist to join our Wind Power Digital Services Delivery Center of Excellence. You will bridge central cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience across IT and OT environments, focusing on risk management, implementation, and governance.

The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field, and expertise in IEC 62443 and NIS2.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Analyze cybersecurity risks from various sources to define and prioritize mitigation actions, ensuring that vulnerabilities are assessed and addressed based on risk and business impact.
  • Facilitate timely closure and documentation of vulnerability remediation activities by coordinating with relevant stakeholders, while tracking progress and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Translate central cybersecurity policies into practical measures for various environments, supporting the rollout of secure configurations and system hardening practices.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into systems and processes, maintaining both safety and operational availability.
  • Assist in implementing and adhering to cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, preparing for audits, tracking findings, and ensuring compliance with necessary controls.
  • Coordinate incident response activities, translating incidents into corrective actions, while identifying recurring risks and process gaps to enhance cybersecurity processes and controls.
What You Bring
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Automation.
  • Possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, particularly within IT/OT hybrid environments, industrial operations, or critical infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity strategy and governance, including risk analysis and security requirements analysis.
  • Apply knowledge of risk management frameworks and IT/OT security standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2.
  • Manage vulnerabilities and threats through effective vulnerability scanning, mitigation strategies, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Utilize cyber threat intelligence to inform security implementation and operations, ensuring robust security controls and cloud security measures are in place.
  • Exhibit strong system administration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
