Project Name: Willow Creek Wind Project

Project Location: Morrison, OK 73061

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION

Responsible for marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Setting up, flagging, and inspecting a crane
  2. Inspecting rigging properly
  3. Running a site level
  4. Checking-in truck deliveries against bill of lading when load arrives
  5. Counting bars and bundles of rebar, dobies, and wire mesh
  6. Directing forklift/crane to unload delivery truck
  7. Shaking out rebar and distributing/organizing accordingly
  8. Using pliers to tie rebar intersections with tie wire
  9. Splicing mats or rebar sections together with short rebar dowels
  10. Understanding building codes/requirements
  11. Cutting excess rebar ends and miscellaneous pieces with gas cut saw or cutting torch
  12. Installing mechanical rebar splices by bolting or welding ends together
  13. Installing caps on vertical rebar dowels for safety
  14. Installing rebar dowels into fresh concrete footings
  15. Determining number, size, shape, and location of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions
  16. Bending steel rods with hand tools or rodbending machine
  17. Reinforcing concrete with wire mesh
  18. Installing prefabricated ornamental ironwork
  19. All other duties as assigned
  20. Renewable Energy Group Accountabilities:
  • Receiving and offloading all major components
  • Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparation
  • Connecting blades to hub
  • Setting base and tower sections
  • Managing taglines
  • Involved with main erection crane assembly and teardown
  • Climbing ladders - average 80m
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Positive attitude and professional customer service skills

  • Ability to operate levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver steering wheel
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and load charts
  • Knowledge of equipment and their uses
  • Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Accepting direction from supervisors and following work rules
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Accepting constructive feedback
  • Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
  • Lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs; over 50 lbs with assistance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Equipment certifications as required
  • 1 year of related experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with necessary endorsements
