Job summary

Acuren Wind is seeking an Operations Field Specialist to support our client site in wind energy projects. You will partner with the Construction Manager to ensure safety, schedule, and quality on site.

The role involves a 6 weeks on / 1 week off rotation, travel between project sites, and close collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive reliable field operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wind/renewables, energy, industrial or civil construction.
• College diploma or higher in Business or related field; desired but not required
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites on short notice
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines
• Self-starter and cooperative attitude
• Experience in conducting inspections and site audits in wind turbine construction/operation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills
• Willingness and ability to work overtime routinely
• Highly detail oriented with exceptional planning and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Help define site level safety practices and protocol in alignment with standards.
• Monitor project schedule and document delays or cost overruns.
• Establish relationships with customers, contractors, and internal partners to drive loyalty.
• Demonstrate understanding of wind turbine technology and work practices to improve cost management.
• Review quality documentation and site-based change orders.
• Ensure site data is updated in information systems for reporting and tracking.
• Audit installation quality and coach crews toward standards.
• Inspect work during construction to ensure plans/specs compliance.
• Represent clients’ values and promote high performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor and District Manager.
