ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind Farm Site Manager to lead operations and maintenance at the La Chalupa/Palmas Altas Wind Farm in Rio Hondo, TX. You will supervise site personnel and contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive turbine availability and reliability.

This role is responsible for promoting a safe and efficient work environment, supporting technician development, managing operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.**Job Description****Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise wind farm employees and contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations and maximize turbine availability.* Provide training and technical support to Wind Turbine Technicians in troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and equipment commissioning.* Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including equipment inspections and condition assessments.* Conduct and review safety analyses, manage site safety training, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.* Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements while maintaining facility and equipment cleanliness.* Perform and oversee root cause analyses to identify equipment failure modes and determine contributing factors.* Manage site inventory, including tools, consumables, and spare parts.* Maintain employee training records, certifications, and qualifications, along with accurate maintenance documentation and operational records.* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on wind farm performance, maintenance activities, and operating costs.* Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare financial reports related to operations and maintenance.* Represent ACCIONA Energía in professional settings and maintain positive relationships with local communities, public officials, landowners, and regulatory stakeholders.* Other responsibilities as assigned.**Required Skills and Competencies****Qualifications:** * 5+ years of operations and maintenance experience in the energy industry; renewable energy experience and 2- or 4-year technical degree preferred.* 2-5 years of leadership experience required, including experience with supervising teams, managing contractors, and coordinating operational priorities.* Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, including the ability to perform or direct switching and lockout/tagout procedures on wind farm equipment.* Ability to obtain certification for low- and medium-voltage equipment.* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor wind farm performance and reliability.* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, budgets, and presentations.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with JD Edwards and Maximo is required.* Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.**Pay & Benefits:** * Base Pay: $110,000 - $150,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset).* 15% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics) and 5% Availability Bonus.* Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), HSA company contributions, and FSA options.* Benefits after 90 days: 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, and other optional plans.* 15 days of PTO (with 1 additional day per year of service), 9 public holidays, and 2 flexible holidays.* $50 monthly reimbursement for health, wellness, or fitness-related memberships and equipment. **Working Conditions:** * All site technicians are provided with the necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to work safely and efficiently.* All turbines are fitted with lifts to support elevated work tasks and reduce physical strain.* May lift and handle up to 50 pounds and climb vertical ladders to heights of 300 feet.* May travel domestically and internationally for extended periods as operational needs require. **Job Location:** La Chalupa/Palmas Altas Wind Farm 18551 North Olmito Rd., Rio Hondo, TX 78583 **Physical Requirements, Accommodations, & Accessibility Statement** **Seeing & Comprehension:** Ability to read and comprehend documents, reports, computer screens, and other written or electronic information.
